The same character reacts to whatever is happening outside. City, temperature and precipitation are always live text on the watch, never part of the picture.
Open RainWatch and the forecast for where you are is already there. No account, no setup. The data comes from Apple Weather.
With Premium, tap the cloud for the hourly forecast, or press and hold it for the next 7 days.
Swipe left for your next saved city with Premium: family, tomorrow's trip, the place you miss. Swipe right for the menu with your cities. You add them in the iPhone app and they appear on the watch by themselves.
RainWatch uses your location only to fetch local weather, show the name of the place and, on iPhone, the air quality. It goes to Apple and, for air quality, to the World Air Quality Index. Never to us.
Your saved cities are stored on your iPhone and go straight to your watch.
Purchases are processed by Apple. RainWatch never receives your payment details.
On any Apple Watch running watchOS 26.6 or later. The iPhone app needs iOS 26.2 or later.
Not for the weather itself: the watch shows the forecast for where you are on its own. RainWatch also comes with an iPhone app, where you add your saved cities (they appear on the watch by themselves) and can buy Premium.
From Apple Weather, the same source the system Weather app uses.
In your Apple account settings, under Subscriptions. If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you won't be charged.
RainWatch can't show local weather without it, so it shows a demo of its weather states instead. You can turn access on later in Settings on your watch or iPhone.
Free on Apple Watch and iPhone. Requires watchOS 26.6 and iOS 26.2 or later.
